lol Fred Stechmann is obviously autistic! American beer $@!%s all over other beers. I'm a fan of Belgian golden ales but I'll be the first to tell you American craft brew goes way dumber. Stone, Dogfish Head, Victory, Troeg, Port Brewing, Rogue, Trumer, Bear Republic, need I go on?! We make the best beers because we're the most intelligent people in the world and we combine that with a LOT of capital and a passion to brew better beer, not just another runner. There are thousands of beers out there but craft brewers aren't just adding to the number. They look at whats out there and figure out how they can make something better, they try to push everything to the limit! The best ingredients in generous amounts, extreme precision brewing, innovative new procedures.... all to try and push the envelope!
